About megan
Megan is a spunky and motivated actress and singer based in New York City. She graduated Cum Laude from Western Connecticut State University in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre. Offstage, she enjoys reading, binge-watching Ted Lasso and other various sitcoms, and traveling.
SO what's the story?
Megan grew up in the city of Norwalk, Connecticut, a close suburb of New York City. She began singing at age two, when her mother, also a singer, had her stand up on the bed and match pitch. She discovered her love of performing at a young age as an active member of the youth theatre in her hometown, and a participant in the school musicals. Upon graduating high school, she headed to Western Connecticut State University in 2013, where she studied Musical Theatre under the tutelage of theatre professionals such as Elizabeth Parkinson, Scott Wise, Mary Ann Lamb, Julio Agustin and Tim Howard.
Megan currently lives in New York City where she studies voice with Andrea Green. She is a proud member of Actor's Equity.

FUN HOME
Most recently, Megan had the privilege of playing Medium Alison in Fun Home at three incredible theatres, first in May 2018 at Music Theatre of Connecticut, where she received the Connecticut Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Debut and a nomination for Outstanding Featured Actress - Musical. That October she reprised the role at White Plains Performing Arts Center alongside Broadway veterans Robert Cuccioli, Rita Harvey and Lauren Cohn. Finally, in June 2019 she traveled to Kalamazoo, Michigan to play the role at Farmers Alley Theatre.

Megan appeared as Piggie in Elephant and Piggie's "We Are In Play!" at Playhouse on Park in West Hartford, CT in December of 2017.

In the fall of 2017, Megan appeared as Carolyn Johnson in The Bridges of Madison County at Music Theatre of Connecticut, where she received her Actor's Equity card.

Upon graduating from Western Connecticut State University, Megan headed up to beautiful Sharon, CT in the summer of 2017 to perform in the ensemble of The Music Man at the Sharon Playhouse. The production was directed by Morgan Green.

In the fall of her senior year at WCSU, Megan appeared in the theatre department's production of The Drowsy Chaperone, where she played the ditzy showgirl Kitty.
The production was entered into the 2017 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, where it received national awards for "Outstanding Production of a Musical", "Outstanding Ensemble of a Musical" and "Outstanding Choreography". Megan was recognized for her performance as an alternate competitor for the Richard Maltby Jr. Award for Musical Theatre Excellence.
She also appeared in several other productions with the university's theatre department, including their acclaimed production of Parade, as Monteen the factory girl and understudy for Lucille Frank. Parade was also entered into the festival in 2016, and received the national awards for "Outstanding Musical" and "Outstanding Choreography or Movement Direction".
